Lucy’s Christian walk began in the Episcopal Church of the Ascension, in Montgomery, Alabama.  She began her formal education at Southern Seminary Junior College of Buena Vista, Virginia, and continued at the University of Alabama, where she studied Child Development and Education for the Exceptional Child.

In 1986, Lucy and her husband, Walter, founded Grace Ministries Christian Center, an Association of Faith Churches and Ministries church (AFCM), in Montgomery, where they served as senior pastors for six years.  She and her husband have also served the Body of Christ as associate pastors, prayer coordinators, and worked in all departments of the local church to include music, childrens and youth ministry. They strongly support and believe in growing, interdenominational, word of faith based churches.

Lucys husband, Walter, is president and founder of McKee and Associates Architects, a large and prominent architectural and interior design firm in the southeast.  Walter and Lucy have three grown sons.

Well trusted in her calling, Lucy ministers in major national and international Christian teaching centers, television ministries, bible schools and leadership conferences.  She operates strongly in the gifts of the Spirit providing a prayer based platform upon which God can reveal truths about prayer and living daily life guided by the Holy Spirit.  She is also called to a mighty campaign concerning the nations, to include the nation of Israel, in which she leads the infusion of corporate prayer into many churches and bodies of believers in foreign lands.

Lucy has a great thirst for God and an intense desire for others to know Him and His plans. Prayer is a way of life to her.

“…To the thirsty, I (Myself) will give water without price from the fountain (springs) of the water of life.”
